 WATERBURY — Nellie (Sears) Clapp, 98, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Wallace Clapp.

Mrs. Clapp was born on March 30, 1915 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Kater Sears and Isa (Welch) Sears. She was retired from Century Brass Co. in Waterbury, where she worked for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Jones and her husband Hayward, of Waterbury; her granddaughter, Robin Clapp; seven step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her two sons, Floyd Clapp and Wallace Carnegie.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 65 Kingsbury St., Waterbury. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Prospect, is in charge of the arrangements.</p>]]></description>

 NAUGATUCK — Vito Cagno, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in the VITAS Hospice unit at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Caroline (Caprio) Cagno.

Mr. Cagno was born on April 18, 1922, in Naugatuck, a son of the late Ambrose and Maria (Daniele) Cagno. He was predeceased by a son, Noel Cagno.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.

			<description><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://www.buckmillerbrothers.com/include/storage/thumb.php?edgeFade=4&amp;imgName=41565/DeathRecordStub/1584781/strilkauskas_photo.jpg&amp;imgWidth=72&amp;imgWidth=120' align='left' hspace='8'>Waterbury-Mary Ann (Orsini) Strilkauskas, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at  Meridian Manor surrounded by her loving family. 

Mary Ann was born on June 23, 1934 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Adeline and Anthony J. Orsini Sr.  She was retired from Danbury Hospital where she worked as a Nurses Aide for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and babysitting.  

She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Strilkauskas and her husband Nick Coppola of Waterbury, two sons, Mark Orsini of Southington and Scott Strilkauskas of Waterbury, her sister, Joan Paiva of Waterbury, two brothers, Anthony J. Orsini Jr. and his wife Margaret of Naugatuck, and Robert Orsini and his wife MaryLou of Prospect, one brother in law, Emery Strilkauskas and his wife Doris of Terryville, and one grandson, Matthew Coppola and also leaves several nieces and nephews.  She will also be missed by Elise Work who was like a granddaughter to her.  

The family would like to thank Meridian Manor and VNA Hospice of Waterbury for the loving care they gave Mary Ann during this difficult time.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd, Waterbury.  Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church.  Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.</p>]]></description>
